SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be sued for centreless grinding of bars. Billet grinding zone is composed by drive and grinding wheels and by support blade. Drive wheel runs about its axis to drive said billet. Grinding wheel is drive about its axis. Billet displaces in its lengthwise axis through several sets of drive and grinding wheels coaxially one after another. Drive and grinding wheels are arranged with axial spacing. Drive wheels enter the gaps between grinding wheels and vice versa. Lateral overlap sections are formed between wheels. Grinding zone diverges downward to get base surface for reliable support of the billet on wheels.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of grinding.
