FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: detail rests on the first and the second abutment surfaces, which are arranged at an angle to each other in a prism type. The grinding wheel is fed with a certain feeding force in the direction of the detail, ensuring its secure fit to the abutment surfaces. The latter carry out braking of the detail, which is driven into rotation only by the grinding wheel. As a result of braking, the number of rotations of the detail decreases, and the grinding wheel along with the detail drive in rotation perform grinding. At the same time, the number of rotations of the grinding wheel and the detail, the braking force acting on the detail on the side of the abutment device and the grinding wheel feeding force are continuously monitored and coordinated among themselves.
EFFECT: improve the accuracy and quality of grinding.
