FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines. The cylinder head (1) for an internal combustion engine contains the inlet channel (7), outlet channels (2), a mounting hole (5) for installation of the element to be cooled, and the water jacket (4) located around the mounting hole (5). The cylinder head (1) is designed with such configuration that the inlet channel (7), outlet channels (8) and the mounting hole (5) are designed conforming to one cylinder. For one cylinder at least one of the top surface of section of the water jacket (4) between the inlet channel (7) and the mounting hole (5) and the top surface of the section of the water jacket (4) between each outlet channel (8) and the mounting hole (5) is formed lower, than the top surface of the section of the water jacket between outlet channels (8). The version of design of the cylinder head is described.
EFFECT: reduction of deformation of the cylinder head.
