SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engineering, namely to the heads of cylinder blocks of a multi-cylinder engine. Multi-cylinder internal combustion engine comprises cylinder head (101) comprising a plurality of combustion chambers (4), a plurality of intake ports (2), first (31) flow channel for the refrigerant and second (20) flow channel for the refrigerant. Plurality of combustion chambers (4) are disposed adjacent to each other in the longitudinal direction of cylinder head (101). Plurality of inlet ports (2) are disposed adjacent to each other in the longitudinal direction of cylinder head (101) and, accordingly, communicate with a plurality of combustion chambers (4). First (31) flow passage for the refrigerant extends in the longitudinal direction and, at least one of the sections perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. First (31) flow channel for the refrigerant is located between the flat section and the cross-section along the center line. Planar section includes the central axes of the plurality of combustion chambers (4) and is parallel to the longitudinal direction, and the cross-section along the central line includes the central lines of the plurality of inlet ports (2). At least a portion of second (20) flow passage for the refrigerant is located between the interface to the cylinder block of cylinder head (101) and the centerline section, in at least one of the sections perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. Temperature of the refrigerant flowing in first (31) flow channel for the refrigerant is lower than the temperature of the refrigerant flowing in second (20) flow passage for the refrigerant.

EFFECT: technical result is to improve the cooling efficiency of the air flowing through the inlet ports.
