FIELD: internal combustion engines.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines with an exhaust gas recirculation system. Engine comprises head (150) of cylinders defining outlet channel in head, which connects at least one outlet path and outlet opening (172) on side of head (150) by fluid medium. Exhaust gas recirculation channel (EGR) is provided inside head (150) and connects the outlet channel with EGR opening (178) on the lateral side and the fluid medium channel as per fluid medium. EGR channel has a section extending mainly parallel to the lateral side. Channel for fluid medium adjoins larger part of perimeter of said section of EGR channel and surrounds it for, at least, partial cooling of EGR gases. EGR cooler is configured to communicate with the EGR channel fluid via the fluid and receives EGR gases therefrom. Intake manifold is configured to communicate via fluid with cooler of EGR and receives EGR gases therefrom. Intake manifold is connected with head by fluid medium. Cylinder head and engine component are disclosed.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing cooling of EGR gases through heat transfer channels in addition to channels provided by EGR cooler, thus reducing the size and/or power of EGR cooler.
