Method contains stages at which: object, containing biological material and including multitude of adjacent layers and peculiarity of interest, extending through said multitude of adjacent layers are provides; picture of section of the first of said multitude of adjacent layers, cut from subject is provided; picture of section of the second of said multitude of adjacent layers, cut from object, is generated; delay between cutting sections of the first and the second adjacent layers of said multitude of adjacent layers is selected from any of hours, days, weeks, months, years; area of interest is determined on picture of the second layer section on the basis of area of interest on picture of the first layer section, area of interest is determined in section of the second layer on the basis of area of interest on picture of the second layer section and material is extracted from area of interest in the second layer section.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of extraction of material from object in the field of biology, histology or pathology.
