FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed process comprises making of prepreg whereat not oriented material including reinforcing fibres and thermoplastic polymer are heated to make said material impregnated with said polymer. Prepreg at temperature of fusion or higher and lower than thermal decomposition temperature in the case when thermoplastic polymer is crystalline, or at temperature of vitrification or higher and lower than thermal decomposition temperature in the case of amorphous polymer, is placed in the die so that die filling factor makes 50% of higher and 100% or lower. At shaping stage, said prepreg is compacted inside said die. At the same time shaping is executed at temperature lower that fusion point in the case of crystalline thermoplastic polymer. Or, it is performed at temperature lower than that of vitrification in the case of amorphous polymer.
EFFECT: higher mechanical properties.
