FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process for preparing tris(perfluoroalkyl)phosphine oxides and can be used on an industrial basis. The process for preparing tris(perfluoroalkyl)phosphine oxides comprises reacting tris(perfluoro-alkyl)difluorophosphorane with alkaline earth metal oxides, alkaline earth metal carbonates, zinc oxide, copper(I) oxide, copper(II) oxide, silver oxide, mercury(II) oxide, cadmium oxide or cadmium carbonate.
EFFECT: improved method for preparing tris(perfluoroalkyl)phosphine oxides.
