FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: generator disconnector contains a generator shaft (100), overrunning clutch (70) in engagement with the generator shaft, first garter spring (40) in detachable engagement with the overrunning clutch, and second garter spring (50) in detachable engagement with the overrunning clutch. The second garter spring is arranged parallel to the first garter spring, both springs are in embedded state relatively to each other, locating between the turns of the other spring, each of the garter springs has end element (41, 51) made with possibility of detachable engagement with the end cover (90), and end cover is permanently connected with the external casing (10). Each of the garter spring is connected in series with a torsional spring (20), at that the torsional spring in engagement with the external casing, and external casing in engagement with the generator rotor (110).
EFFECT: higher operation reliability.
