FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: according to the adaptive method of object protection against laser operated missile a missile laser signal is detected. Coordinates of the source of such radiation are identified. The interfering laser is oriented using these coordinates. The missile control laser signals reflected by its body are detected. Their power gradient is determined and compared with the pre-set threshold. An interfering signal of the pulse-frequency interfering laser is formed by change of its frequency to the value exceeding the pre-set value of the threshold by the gradient of power of laser control signals reflected by the rocket body.
EFFECT: high efficiency of object protection of against laser-operated missiles.
