FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in the polymerisation of trioxane in a toluene medium in the presence of methylal, etherate of boron trifluoride in the reactor, equipped with a blade mixer at the rotation rate of 800 rpm, the temperature of polymerisation (40±2)°C and the duration of 4 hours.
EFFECT: obtaining highly dispersive dimethyl ether of polyoxymethyleneglycol with the weight average size of particles lower than 15 mcm in a solvent that does not destroy the ozone screen, reduction of energy and labour consumption due to the reduction of the polymerisation temperature and the time of exposure.
