FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: cassette for growing seedlings is a container made of impact-proof frost-resistant plastic, in the form of a rectangular cassette. The cassette comprises a platform with cells of square shape with chamfered corners in the plan in the upper and lower planes, tapering downwards, and the opening made in the lower plane of each cell, which walls are interconnected with the guiding reinforcement ribs and have vertical slits at the height of two thirds of the height of the cell. In the ribs separating the cells in the upper part, the slit cuts are made, having the height of 10 mm from the upper edge and a width of 2 mm.
EFFECT: increase in germination of seedlings and their maximum viability.
