SUBSTANCE: invention is used in electrical engineering. Electronic automatic circuit breaker includes controlled mechanical contacts made so that power supply source with load, control circuit containing microcontroller can be connected optionally in order to control passage of electric energy to load, to detect different types of faults and automatic opening of contacts in response to faults. Primary power supply source of the circuit breaker receives power from source of the supply mains when contacts are closed and supplies power to the control circuit. Fault indicators in the microcontroller specify type of fault, which lead to contacts opening. Secondary power supply source ensures power supply to the control circuit when contacts are open and circuit breaker is closed.
EFFECT: improved safety of reclosure.
