FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in testing different types of electronic components for resistance to pulsed ionising radiation. An automated system for testing electronic components for radiation resistance comprises an ionising radiation source, in the direct stream of which an ionising radiation detector and the irradiated electromagnetic radiation shielding container with the test electronic component are placed. The system also includes control and functional check unit, multichannel buffer matching devices, stabilised electrical power sources, measurement means whose measurement inputs are connected to outputs of the multichannel buffer matching devices and the ionising radiation detector, as well as a computer with software, connected to the inputs/outputs of the control and functional check unit and measurement means. The control and functional check unit is connected to the computer and the multichannel buffer matching devices and the ionising radiation detector are connected to the measurement means by fibre-optic lines, wherein the stabilised electrical power sources are self-contained, the control and functional check unit, multichannel buffer matching devices and electrical power sources are placed in the irradiated container and are protected from the ionising radiation by a shield.
EFFECT: high resistance to electromagnetic interference.
