FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to engine building and can be used for ignition. Supply of thermal energy pulse is started before fuel spray advance and continued till completion of a combustion product outlet phase. Laser emission power can be reduced as the outlet phase is being competed. Prior to ignition, some amount of fuel is ignited in a prechamber by radiation created by a microchip laser. It is possible to correct a fuel spray advance angle depending on a true turning angle of a distributing shaft. It is possible to correct power of a laser plug beam depending on air temperature. An igniter is of a cooled type and connected to a liquid cooling system. The device can contain a control unit, a pumping unit, an energy source, which are connected with electrical communications, as well as a laser power control that is installed between the energy source and the pumping unit. A damping device can be installed inside the housing. On the housing of the laser ignition plug there can be made longitudinal ribs. Inside the housing of the laser ignition plug there can be made an annular cavity, to which supply and discharge branch pipes for circulation of cooling liquids are connected.
EFFECT: task of creation of a group of inventions consists in improvement of reliability of an ignition system, improvement of ecological properties of the engine, reduction of vibration loads on the plug and improvement of its reliability.
