FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: internal combustion engine includes at least one cylinder, inlet and outlet valves and an ignition plug by supplying a thermal energy pulse to a local zone in the inner volume of the cylinder at the moment corresponding to an optimum angle of advance of lighting-up and ignition of a fuel-and-air mixture, which differs by the fact that supply of a thermal energy pulse is performed to a local zone arranged under an inlet valve. Ignition can be performed by means of a laser beam from a laser ignition plug, which includes a microchip-laser, a sealed optic window, a vacuum tube and a focusing lens, the focus of which is under the inlet valve. Solution of the above tasks is achieved in a device for laser ignition of fuel in the internal combustion engine, which includes at least one cylinder, inlet and outlet valves and an ignition plug, which differs by the fact that there has been used at least one laser ignition plug containing a microchip-laser, a vacuum tube, a focusing lens and a sealed optic window, and the microchip-laser is connected with the optic window to a pumping unit. Laser beam focus of the focusing lens can be located under the inlet valve. The laser ignition plug can be installed on a forechamber, and laser beam focus is inside the forechamber. The device for laser fuel ignition in the internal combustion engine can contain an energy source, an ignition control unit and a pumping unit, which are connected via electrical connections; with that, the pumping unit has a possibility of controlling pumping pulse emission power, as well as repetition frequency and phase. The laser ignition plug as a part of the device can contain a vibration damping device inside the housing. Solution of the above tasks is achieved in the laser ignition plug containing a housing inside which a microchip-laser connected with a vacuum tube to the focusing lens on the end and an optic window is installed due to the fact that according to the invention the damping device is installed inside the housing.
EFFECT: improving reliability of an ignition system, ecological properties of an engine, reducing vibration loads on a plug and improving its reliability.
