FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to catheters for placement in vessel. Catheter contains control handle, elongated proximal section, which is connected with control handle with its proximal end, distal tip device, casing and transmitter. Casing has proximal end part, containing first material, distal end part, containing second material, and part of casing located between proximal and distal end parts and containing third material. First and second materials are different from third material. Proximal end part is connected with proximal end of distal tip device. Casing has cavity wall with internal surface, which forms cavity, with cavity wall having at least one slit hole. Transmitter is placed at least partially inside casing cavity. First tubular element has proximal end and distal end and cavity-forming wall, with at least part of first tubular element being located inside casing cavity and connected with proximal end part of casing, and at least part of transmitter being located inside cavity of first tubular element.

EFFECT: application of invention makes it possible to install transmitter inside catheter case in such a way that protection of transmitter and/or wires or wire connectors, connecting transmitter with control handle, is provided, with simultaneous provision of possibility to preserve required flexibility of catheter case and quality of obtained image.
