SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to catheters for atherectomy, used for removal of material from blood vessel in order to open blood vessel canal and enhance blood flow in vessel. Catheter for access to blood vessel wall section contains elongated tubular rod, which contains distal and proximal ends and lateral wall, which forms determines canal, and has first curvature, second curvature, located at specified distance in distal direction from first curvature, and opening, passing through lateral wall and located in distal direction from second curvature and in proximal direction from distal end of said rod. First curvature has fist angle larger than zero. Second curvature has second angle larger than first angle. First and second angles and specified distance are selected in such a way as to ensure pressing opening to said section of blood vessel wall in the process of application.
