FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to stent delivery system, and particularly to main unit of stent delivery system. Main unit of stent delivery system comprises main element comprising intermediate zone and distal tip, stent passing above intermediate zone of main element and having distal portion and distal casing containing first and second ends. Casing second end is connected to distal tip. Distal casing is oriented in delivery position, in which first end (i) passes in proximal direction relative to distal tip and (ii) at least partially surrounds distal portion of stent, and can move from inverted delivery position, in which first end is located distally in relation to second end, and with possibility to turn around main element.
EFFECT: stent delivery.
