FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: milling device contains a stationary housing with raw stock charging zones and ready product discharging zones; placed between them is a rotor with insertion longitudinal cutting elements in the form of rectangular bars with cogs; a fixture is mounted on the housing wall with the help of a device for its adjustable forced shift parallel to the rotor axis; additionally, the device contains a drive. The fixture is wedge-shaped and is attached with the help of the device for adjustable forced shift in the direction between the charging and the discharging zones for setting the required acute angle of its slant relative to the plane perpendicular to the rotor axis. The fixture preferably has a grating surface on the side of the rotor that is adjacent to the latter. Bars similar to those of the rotor are mounted on the surface, installed parallel or at a slant, in particular - in a V-shaped patter relative to the rotor axis. The device for adjustable forced shift of the fixture is preferably supplemented with a device for the fixture oscillations excitation.
EFFECT: enhancement of performance of the milling device and of quality of the end product due to improved conditions of the source product supply to the rotor cutting elements and increased intensity of grating between the rotor and the fixture surfaces.
