FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: injector has an outer casing, an inner casing, a start button and a casing retainer. The above inner casing comprises a needle-free syringe at one end, and is movable inside the outer casing between a syringe filling position and an actuation position. The start button is actively connected to the inner and outer casing. The casing retainer is actuated by the start button for the purpose of avoiding the inner casing moving from the syringe filling position into the actuation position when actuating the start button in the syringe filling position. There also disclosed methods for operation of the presented needle-free injection device.
EFFECT: using the invention enables minimising the risk of syringe contamination or operator's injury.
