FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical devices, in particular to a push button for an auto injector. The push button comprises an outer part configured actuated by the auto injector user to enable the latter to press on the outer part towards a first end of the auto injector. An inner ring is connected to the outer part and located close to a forked end of a piston of the auto injector; the inner ring is configured to engage the forked end of the piston when the user presses on the outer part; the inner ring has an inner diameter falling in the range of 6.0-6.7 mm.
EFFECT: minimising or eliminating an auto injector actuation failure that causes a delayed delivery of an injected substance.
