FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for hidden-arc welding gun with contact tip of which ensure the electric contact with welding wire. Welding wire end is immersed under ply of pelletized fused flux. Welding wire is used which contains substrate without copper-plating and lubing coat applied thereto to reduce abrasive wear of said contact tip. Wire coating consists of a grease compound or contains it. Said compound contains grease, organic binder and thermally stable electrically conducting material resisting oxidation at 1200-1600°C. Said material contains one or several conducting perovskites.
