FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biology and is intended for the inactivation of microorganisms of the genus E.coli. To inactivate the microorganisms of the genus E.coli an object is processed in a gaseous medium. As the gaseous medium used is a vapour-gas mixture of tetrafluoroethane (Freon) and ethyl alcohol. The concentration of ethyl alcohol in the vapour-gas mixture constitutes 2-5% of the volume of the chamber, into which the product to be processed, is placed. Processing of objects with the said mixture is carried out under the pressure of 50-100 atm and a temperature of 34°C.
EFFECT: application of the method provides the preservation of the product biological value, simplification of the process of the required production processing and increases the efficiency of inactivation of the microorganisms of the genus E.coli.
