FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of sterilizing medical devices in hermetically sealed kraft bags. Liquid carbon dioxide CO2 is used as a sterilizing medium. Sterilization is performed in the temperature range of 37–57°C at a pressure in the range of 30–300 atm, the pressure is increased and the pressure is released to atmospheric pressure by free flow with a total process duration of 5–60 minutes in combination with simultaneous exposure to microwave radiation of 1 kW, 4 GHz for medical products in hermetically sealed kraft bags.

EFFECT: ensuring the sterilization of materials of various classes, since in addition to ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene it is applicable to metal, ceramic, polymer, composite and hybrid materials, as well as dense human tissues.
