FIELD: sterilization.
SUBSTANCE: method for sterilizing medical instruments and products includes airtight packaging of instruments and products in brown paper bags used in medicine, characterized in that liquid carbon dioxide CO2 or its mixture with argon at elevated pressure is used as a sterilizing medium, and sterilization is carried out in a dynamic mode in for 15-120 minutes in the temperature range of 37-90°C at a pressure of 30-300 atm by repeating the cycles of pressure gain and decompression with pressure relief to atmospheric pressure by free flow. A variant of this sterilization method is also disclosed in combination with simultaneous ultrasonic exposure at 35 kHz, 100 W.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides effective sterilization of materials of various classes.
