SUBSTANCE: header for stripping standing crops comprises a gauge platform 1 with support shoes 2, guiding cases 3 and 4, a drum 5, an auger 10, an unloading device 11 with a fan 12. Along the perimeter of the drum 5 the stripping combs 6 are fixed with teeth and holes in places of connection of their side edges at the base of the tooth 7. The drum 5 in the cross section has a shape of a regular polyhedron and formed of separate faces 13. These faces 13 have on the sides a flange, on one of which the stripping comb 6 teeth is made, so that the stripping comb 6 with teeth is made in one piece with a separate face 13. The assembly of the drum 5 can be carried out using contact welding.

EFFECT: reduction of complexity of manufacturing the stripping drum, reduction of the range of parts and the weight of the finished product.
