SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machinery industry. The proposed header for stripping standing grain crops comprises a gauge platform 1 with support shoes 2 and field dividers 3, a reel 4 with rakes 5 with spring fingers 6, a screw, an unloading device with the fan, and a drum 7 with the stripping combs 8 with teeth and holes in the places of connection of their side edges. The side edge of the teeth is made on hypocycloid: built at a ratio of R=3r, the two branches of which come from the top of the tooth and intersect with the x-axis of the guide circumference at the place of their connection, where R is the radius of the guide circumference; r is the radius of the generating circumference; φ is the angle of rotation of the generating circumference. The reel 4 is made with a gauge track 18 for the rollers 19 connected with the rakes 5 with the spring fingers 6 by means of a jaw 20. The spring fingers 6 are bent along the circumference with a radius equal to the radius of the location of the rakes 5 of the reel 4 relative to its axis of rotation.

EFFECT: invention provides an improved supply of grain mass to the stripping combs of the drum, gripping capacity of spring fingers of the reel rake and the teeth of the stripping comb of the drum, reduction in the number of bearings of the header, reduction of metal consumption in the manufacture of the header and labour intensity of manufacturing the header.
