SUBSTANCE: proposed device is designed to feed packing material to master station. Note here that material comprises multiple pre-laminated bores whereat said station will set the opening devices. Device comprises web actuator displacing the web in first direction parallel with the path, measuring signal transducer related with bores [positions, and first motor functionally connected with displacing means for kits displacement in second direction, across aforesaid path. In compliance with second version, this device comprises web extra drive arranged along material motion and third motor engaged therewith for displacement of the latter in second direction. Proposed method includes web displacement in first direction parallel with the path driven by said first actuator, tracking the opening devices positions and generation of measuring signals related with said positions. Note here that this process includes crosswise displacement on the basis of at least one of measuring signals of said first actuator in second direction, across said path. In compliance with another version, this method includes additional web displacement downstream of said station by means of extra actuator and crosswise displacement on the basis of measuring signals of said actuator in second direction across aforesaid path.
