SUBSTANCE: valve is intended to change direction of the work fluid flow in the hydraulic system of the automatic transmission of the vehicle. The valve is made such that multiple seat sections and cavity section between the seat sections are created in the valve element, that is protracted or retracted in the axial direction according to the manual control, multiple open sections of hole are made in the cylindrical section, in which the valve element is inserted such that to protract or to retract, and these sections of hole are connected with each other by the cavity section according to the position of the valve element in axial direction or are blocked by the seat sections, the switching valve contains sealing section that seals the space between areas at both sides in the axial direction transversely to one of the seat sections making it impermeable for liquid.

EFFECT: smooth movement of the valve element.
