FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mix separator. Device for separation of mix composed of magnetising and non-magnetising particles comprises separation channel confined, on one side, by ferromagnetic yoke and, on opposite side, by limiting body, at least one magnetic field induction means, magnetising particles separation element at separation channel outlet. Set of coils is used for induction of magnetic field. Said set comprises coils controlled by control device arranged along separation channel to induce magnetic field deflecting towards the yoke, variable in time and travelling along separation channel. Limiting body is made of magnetising material. Coils arranged along separation channel are integrated in appropriate alternating groups. Coils of one group are controlled during appropriate period with the shift by AC profile with no current for at least one time interval. Coils spaced apart coils are electrically connected so that every second coil passes current in opposite direction.
EFFECT: higher separation efficiency.
