FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: one-stringed drilling bail includes rod, top and bottom eye rings. At end face of the bottom part of the eye rings the hole with boring is drilled to enclose half couplings secured on the rod. At the end faces of the rod the thread hole is made for securing screws. The securing screws secure the bottom and top handles. The handle has U-shape form with ring part at one end with hole for the securing screw passage, and with C-shape part at another end used to secure on the rod by its enveloping. The safety clevises are intended for securing of the top and bottom handles on the bail rod, and are connected with handles by welded joints during the bails installation. The half couplings are used to connect rods and eye rings. The rod and eye rings are welded by complete welded joint.

EFFECT: simplified manufacturing and repair of the device.
