SUBSTANCE: radar waveguide level indicator is designed for measurement of materials level, for instance, in reservoirs, boilers with excessive pressure, silos. It comprises a transceiving unit, including a processing unit, a modulator, a transmitter and a receiver, a waveguide line located inside the reservoir and attached to its metal surface, transmitting and receiving connected lines, joined with the transmitter and receiver, accordingly, feed-through plates passing via microwave frequency and ending with vibrators that excite a waveguide line, which is mounted as a separate suspension with a weight, which may be a reflector or an absorber.
EFFECT: objective solved by the invention consists in achievement of high strength of a tight microwave transition, a waveguide line and required waveguide matching of the structure, and also resistance to environmental impact.
