FIELD: measurement; testing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment, in particular to devices for measuring the level. Radar level gauge system contains a transceiver located outside the tank and configured to generate, send and receive electromagnetic signals, a single-wire probe mounted inside the tank and electrically connected to the transceiver via a pass-through electrical input located at the upper end of the tubular mounting structure, a single-wire probe passes essentially vertically down through the tubular mounting structure and then beyond the lower end of the tubular mounting structure in the tank in the direction of the product and in its internal volume with the ability to direct the transmitted electromagnetic signal from the transceiver through the air in the tank in the direction of the product surface and return the electromagnetic signal, formed as a result of the reflection of the transmitted signal from the product surface, back towards the transceiver, a processor circuit connected to the transceiver and capable of determining the fill level using the transmitted signal and the signal reflected from the product surface, and an electrically conductive shielding component, spatially separated in the radial direction from the single-wire probe and extending along its upper portion inside the tubular mounting structure and beyond its lower end. In this case, the shielding component at least partially encloses the upper portion of the single-wire probe and is made open in the radial direction with the possibility of filling it with the product, thereby ensuring the possibility of measuring fill levels corresponding to the upper portion of the probe. Shielding component has a first portion extending inside a tubular mounting structure along a single-wire probe, and a second portion extending along a single-wire probe at the lower end of said structure. In the cross section of the shielding component, perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the single-wire probe, in the first section of the shielding component, the angular size of the arc covering the single-wire probe exceeds 180°, and in the second section, said angular size decreases with increasing distance from the lower end of the tubular mounting structure.
EFFECT: object of the present invention is to provide for an improved radar level gauge system and tank arrangement.
