FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to methods and systems for localising an X-ray imaging device. The method creates a reference plane crossing a three-dimensional image of an object, a central point at a crossing of the object, a normal vector to the reference plane and at least one tangential vector on the reference plane. Thereafter the reference place, reference system of the object and reference system of the X-ray imaging device are recorded. That is followed by specifying at least one viewing direction produced from the normal vector and/or at least from one tangential vector; the X-ray imaging device is adjusted by geometrical parameters of the X-ray imaging device.
EFFECT: using the invention provides the automatic localisation of the X-ray imaging device and the faster correction of the actual accompanying image that results in lesser radiation exposure.
