ROBOTIC SURGICAL SYSTEM FOR TRANSCATHETER AORTIC VALVE REPLACEMENT Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61B34/20 A61B34/30

Abstract RU 2789707 C1

FIELD: medical technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical technology. The robotic surgical system for transcatheter replacement of the aortic valve is a multicomponent technical device for manipulating the transcatheter delivery system from the stage of its introduction into the vascular system, the implementation of controlled aortic valve replacement, to excretion from the body. The pre-positioning unit of the system is made in the form of a guide rail, along which two carriages move longitudinally. An aluminum profile is mounted on the carriages, on which a precision positioning unit is mounted, containing a ball screw and a base platform. The ball screw platform is driven by the operation of an electric motor connected by a coupling to the ball screw drive mechanism. On the ball screw platform there is a main platform made of rigid inflexible material, on which there is a rotary platform capable of making a controlled revolution around the central axis relative to the initial horizontal position. On the rotary platform there are elements of fixing and manipulating the handle of the transcatheter delivery system: the bed of the handle of the delivery system and the clamp connected to each other, which enclose a part of the handle and fix it against longitudinal movement, rotation along its axis and deviation from the longitudinal axis.

EFFECT: control of catheter delivery systems is achieved, which implements the stage of controlled release of the transcatheter prosthesis in the target area of replacement: the fibrous ring of the aortic valve, during minimally invasive transfemoral intervention.
