FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication applications and can be used in a passive optical network with wavelength division multiplexing (WDM-PON). The device has X dividers with the division coefficient 1:Y, and each divider has one input and Y outputs. One input of each of X dividers is designed with a possibility to receive an optical scatterometry signal in time domain. The device contains an array on the basis of a massif of wave guides and the first filter designed with a possibility to mix the feeder signal containing data transmission from the optical line terminal, OLT with one of N OTDR subsignals. One AWG input is designed with a possibility to receive mix of feeder signal and one OTDR subsignal, and the remained N-1 of AWG inputs are designed with a possibility to receive respective one of N-1 remained OTDR subsignals.

EFFECT: implementation of observation of (WDM-PON).
