SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to maxilla-facial surgery and is applicable in traumatology. Zygomatic bone fragments are reduced and fixed with a pin. In its mid-portion, the pin has a plate with holes and intra-bone screw elements. A front fixing segment of the pin is threaded. A pin tail has a smooth surface and is applicable to attach to a revolving drive. The pin with the plate is mounted through an incision made 5mm above a transient fold within the 2nd-6th upper teeth. An anteroexternal wall of a maxillary sinus and a lower edge of the zygomatic bone are skeletonised. The pin tail is attached to the drive. The anterior fixing segment of the pin is rotated and inserted into a zygomatic bone body. The plate is placed above a surface of an alveolar process, and if a zygomatico-alveolar crest has a defect, a portion of the plate is positioned above the defect and overlapped partially. The drive is detached. The tail is bitten. The plate is adjusted to the surface of the alveolar process and fixed through the holes by means of two screws to the alveolar process. The holes are equally space over the plate.

EFFECT: by fixing in two places: the anterior fixing pin segment and the screwed plates, the method enables improving the fixation stability and reliability, reducing the bone defect partially, and the length of operation.
