FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicles with ICE of forced ignition by spark discharge generated by microprocessor-based ignition system. Event corresponding to ignition coil primary winding open-circuit condition is registered on the basis of onboard diagnostics in case ignition coil current and ICE shaft instantaneous rpm deflect from preset threshold magnitudes. Invention can be used for onboard diagnostics of ignition coil under complex electromagnetic conditions.
EFFECT: higher validity of diagnostics and before-the-fact correction effects.
