FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: in compliance with claimed diagnostics process for N-cylinder ICE ignition coils, their serviceability is defined by the results of comparison of measured current amplitude in coil primary winding with the data with preset threshold magnitudes and statistical data of measurements of current amplitudes in primary windings of the ICE other coils during several ICE operation cycles.

EFFECT: higher validity of serviceability control and accuracy of control over vehicle emission levels.
