FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydroautomatic devices and can be used for automatic conversion of continuous fluid flow with minor discharge into discrete flow ay high flow rate, particularly, it can be used for proportioned feed of fluid in chemical and food industries, in irrigation systems, etc. Siphon comprises suction bend with suction pipe (8), air cap (11) and barrel (4), drain bend (3) with drain pipe (14) and siphon actuation mechanism composed of said parts of suction and drain bends (2, 3). Barrel (4) is installed upside-down and sealed by cover (5) from bottom side and provided with outlet side union (6) nearby bottom (7). Suction pipe (8) lower end is sealed in barrel (4) via it bottom (7) while its upper end extends above bottom (7) and is fitted with air cap (11). Lower edge of drain pipe (14) is arranged above lower edge of suction pipe (8). Drain pipe (14) of drain bend is provided with coupler (16) with breather pipe (17).
EFFECT: simplified deign, higher reliability, friendly use, decreased scatter of drain flow rate.
