FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic hydraulic devices. A siphon includes suction and drain elbows and a siphon start-up mechanism. A suction tube of the suction elbow is equipped with an air cap and a shell, and the siphon start-up mechanism is made of the above parts of the suction elbow and the drain tube of the drain elbow. Lower edge of the air cap is installed below upper edge of the shell, but above the lower edge of the suction tube, and the lower edge of the drain tube of the drain elbow is installed below lower edge of the air cap, but above the lower edge of the suction tube. Air cap volume is larger than that of the shell, and flow passage of the section tube of the suction elbow is smaller than a slot-type flow passage of the shell, but larger than flow passage of the drain tube of the drain elbow.
EFFECT: invention allows simplifying a siphon structure, improving operation reliability and enlarging the range of change of the supplied flow.
