FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: ammunition comprises cylindrical and bottom parts. Proposed method consists in making localizers of crushing case into splinters in the form of annular grooves made on cylindrical part outer surface and bottom part outer surface. Said case is composed of at least two shells, inner solid and outer composite. The latter consists of several isolated parts. Outer shell parts are composed of separate isolated rings to be fitted on said inner shell so that their side surface contact with each other. Annular grooves between outer shell parts are made by fitting extreme rings of outer shell parts so that they are spaced apart. Outer shell rings are composed of rings of several cylindrical spirals fitted coaxially one in the other to allow interaction there between.
EFFECT: higher fragmentation efficiency.
