FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measuring technology and concerns an optical dust meter. The dust meter contains measuring and reference channels with two protective windows, two radiation sources controlled by a microcontroller operating at wavelengths in the region of maximum and minimum dust absorption, a dust monitoring device for viewing windows, the output of which is the input for the control device, the output of which is connected to the device for blowing protective windows. The dust meter also contains a temperature control device, the output of which is connected to a microcontroller, and a heating device for viewing windows. Radiation from radiation sources using separating prisms and mirrors is directed through the measuring and reference channels into a single luminous flux and then to the input of a broadband photodetector, which is connected in series with an amplifier and a microcontroller. Besides, the dust meter additionally contains an observation window connected to the heating device and installed at an angle of 90 degrees relative to the axis of the light emitter, a mirror, two broadband photodetectors and two amplifiers connected to the microcontroller, as well as a separating mirror and a diaphragm.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of continuous measurement of dust concentration and ensuring the possibility of determining the material composition of dust and its size.
