FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measuring technology and concerns a method for monitoring dust parameters. When implementing the method, pulses of light radiation are sequentially generated at wavelengths in the region of maximum and minimum dust absorption and their transmission through the reference and measuring channel, at the output of which the attenuation of radiation is measured, by which the dust concentration is judged. The viewing windows are heated in the measuring channel, their dustiness is monitored and their automatic cleaning is carried out, and the ambient temperature is measured. In this case, the luminous flux from the output of the measuring channel is divided into wide and narrow beams, and additionally, scattered radiation at two wavelengths at an angle of 90° to the axis of the incident radiation is recorded in the measuring channel.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of measuring the dust concentration and ensuring the possibility of determining the material composition of dust and its size in difficult operating conditions of the enterprise.
