FIELD: physics, optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrooptical instrument making and can be used in television devices with a submatrix photodetector. The result is achieved due to that the image forming apparatus comprises series-arranged, optically interfaced input objective lens, scanner, projecting lens and photodetector, the output of which is connected through an interfacing unit with the first input of a signal processing unit, the first output of which is the output of the image forming apparatus; the second output of the signal processing unit is connected to at least one controlled reference radiation source, optically interfaced through the scanner with the photodetector; as well as a clock circuit, which is connected between the scanner and the second clock input of the signal processing unit; and a circuit for controlling the operating mode of the photodetector, the input of which is connected to the third output of the signal processing unit, and the output is connected to the control input of the photodetector; the apparatus being characterised by that it further includes a correction algorithm control unit, the input of which is connected to the second output of the signal processing unit and the output is connected to the third input of the signal processing unit.
EFFECT: reduced output signal error when using the device when radiation flux values deviate beyond the range of values of flux from reference radiation sources.
