SUBSTANCE: winding device of a clock mechanism consists of a kinematic system which interacts with an element of a spring winding mechanism. The element of the spring winding mechanism is in the form of a lever which is interfaced with a transfer mechanism which includes at least one ratchet mechanism and a winding wheel, wherein the arm of the lever is part of the clock housing.
EFFECT: simpler design with improved efficiency of winding clocks owing to direct action on the winding wheel when transferring energy of the movement of the lever, longer operation of clocks by preventing energy loss during transfer thereof through the ratchet mechanism, protecting control elements of clocks.
