FIELD: agriculture; machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machine building. Rotary mower with a plants traumatizing device comprises a cutting device with rotating towards each other discs 2 with articulated therewith blades 3 and detachable drums 4 and 5 in the form of truncated cones vertically mounted on them. Drums 4 and 5 are made of the same size and installed on rotating discs 2 in pairs, alternating each other. On its surface, first drum 4 on the right in the way of the mower's movement has longitudinally fixed symmetrically to each other beaters 6 with a bent bottom part. Next drum 5 has L-shaped beaters made of round cross-section steel and containing impact rods 12, bridges and stops 13. Beaters are disposed diametrically opposite perpendicular to the blades 3 of the disks 2 and are articulated to the drums 5 upper part side surface by the radial projections of the clamps 15. Beaters impact rods 12 beat on the drums 5 are installed horizontally in one or different planes.

EFFECT: rotary mower provides high-quality processing of grasses during mowing.
