FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: produced curves are filtered to remove any artefacts and transferred to a personal computer by an analogous-to-digital converter. The first and second rheovasogram derivatives are constructed. Reference points describing three maxima, two minima and two zero transients are marked on the second derivative. Rheograph software application is used to find a systolic time interval and phases: an elastic outflow component, a muscular outflow component, a capillary-venous outflow, as well as a diastole time interval and its phases: a metabolic phase, pulse wave propagation, fast and slow inflows. For each phase found, there are the first and second rheovasogram derivatives calculated, and the following biochemical parameters determined: phase duration, average resistance propagation velocity, average acceleration, average power and work.
EFFECT: method provides the more reliable analysis results ensured by deriving the phase structure of the rheovasogram making it possible to assay the function of each segment of the systemic circulation.
