FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compensators installed on a small arms barrel, namely to a muzzle brake-compensator. The muzzle brake-compensator is made in the form of a tubular nozzle for the arms barrel end. The compensator includes three coaxially located chambers that are connected in series and interact through a central channel. The first chamber is provided with through holes and a constriction in the front part. The first chamber interacts with the second chamber. The second chamber is provided with gas vents having the shape of flat channels passing at an inclination in backward direction from the central channel outwards and located on both sides of the imagined vertical plane passing through the longitudinal axis. The second chamber is interconnected with the third chamber that is provided with the front wall and openings. Openings of the third chamber are located on both sides of the imagined vertical plane passing through the longitudinal axis, have such a shape and dimensions that surface area of the wall of this chamber from below of the imaged horizontal plane passing through the longitudinal axis is larger than surface area of the wall of this chamber from above of it.
EFFECT: simplification of the design and compensation not only for recoil but also rebound at shooting.
